Christmas in Toyland

Nancy Drew and the mystery of declining brick-and-mortar retail sales…

Charlie is a data analyst for Big Teddy Toy Company who gets sent to investigate their one brick-and-mortal store that’s bucking the trend of declining retail sales after she argues to the Board against closing their stores. Can she discover the secret to one store’s strong sales numbers and save Christmas in-person retail sales?!? Shhh - don’t tell her - the answer to the company’s plight most likely rhymes with Schmamazon.

Grant is the manager of the lone successful store, and happens to be the grandson of the toy store owner where Charlie made her most lasting Christmas memories.

Working together they manage to… not save that store… nor any others. So Grant re-opens his Grandpa’s store and inspires Charlie to quit her corporate job and VP-promo to become a toy designer instead.

Biggest pro: stellar set of red satin pajamas

Feel free to judge this movie by the Giant Tiger, bargain basement cover, despite the presence of Hallmark Zac Efron. Hard. Pass.

SCORE: 1/10
