A Kiss Before Christmas

Desperate Sliding Doors

  • Again with the unworkable names… my DMs are open, Hallmark! @ me!

  • Part Sliding Doors with elevators, part It’s a Wonderful Life. Story of what would have happened if just one different decision had been made 20 years prior, then the requisite push to be a better person, understand what’s truly important in life.

  • Storyline is predictable right down to wanting to help kids in need, but pretty heartwarming overall. Not so sure about Santa 🎅 playing the role of ghost who leads the protagonist on his journey, but I guess that makes it extra Christmassy.

  • Fun to seen James Denton and Teri Hatcher on screen together again - can you believe it’s been almost 10 years since Desperate Housewives went off the air?!? No, that does not mean it needs to be rebooted, studio execs! But may be time for a binge watch.

Wait! Why do I recognize that person?

  • Desperate Housewives’ Mike and Susan together again! No shirtless men tending to flowerbeds this time around though.

SCORE: 7/10

Tell me more!

When nice-guy Ethan casually wishes his life had taken a different course, he wakes up the next day to find nothing is the same – he’s not married to his wife Joyce, he doesn’t have two teenaged kids and he’s CEO of his company. If he wants to reclaim his original life and the family he loves, he must convince Joyce he’s telling the truth and win her over…and he only has until Christmas Day.
