First time star Amanda Kloots - in a movie she co-wrote - is Audrey, a fitness instructor returned home from NY to the “Christmas oasis” of Mistletoe, MT.
Fortunately for us, her return coincides with the arrival of corporate ski resort magnate Griffin, working to garner support from the town for a new development, arguing that the nearest ski hill is AN HOUR AWAY! Honestly, it’s like if Banff didn’t have Sunshine around the corner. The horror!
The cover photo does not help, and the third wheel in the (inevitable) love triangle doesn’t really factor into the story in a real way. It’s your standard You’ve Got Mail / Shop Around the Corner retell, and go ahead - call me an ol’ softie, and we’ve got a long season ahead of us, but I found this a pleasant watch on this chilly Sunday morning.

You enjoy some light Christmas fare to ease you into the season and enjoyed Amanda Kloots when she was on Dancing With The Stars. I always appreciate someone knowing what they’re good at and doubling-down.
