Operation Nutcracker
New drinking game idea:
Take a shot every time someone says the word “nutcracker.”
This one was just ok for me. Other than the aforementioned nutcracker mentioned every other line, this didn’t really scream, “CHRISTMAS” to me the way some do. Formulaic plot? Obviously. Mixed up luggage leads to a misplaced antique, incredibly expensive nutcracker that was inexplicably just tossed into a carry-on suitcase without so much as a t-shirt wrapped around it. Enter Lottie, party planner for the family charity ball, and Tristan, heir to the family fortune, who have to find the nutcracker in time for the ball.
The highlight of this was the two leads - both with frequent Hallmark appearances, but maybe Christmas isn’t quite their thing after a number of misses the last few years.
