Ghosts of Christmas Always

What happens when a run-of-the-mill Scrooging goes awry

Anyone else kinda wish Dickens had written more than one classic Christmas story in the era of so little original IP it seems? Just me?

Katherine is the Ghost of Christmas Present sent to “Scrooge” Peter, who doesn’t seem like he needs it at all. Something doesn’t seem quite right…

In a somewhat convoluted climax, we discover that Katherine is the best friend of Peter’s grandfather’s wife - you keeping up? - who died in the 1950s(ish).

Obviously Kat and Peter fall in love and she is in-angel’ed to become human and be with him.

I’m legit curious as to how Hallmark scored all these classic cars for flashback scenes.

Little bit of a twist on the classic tale, but I’ve seen more engaging tellings of the story.

Points to the screenwriter who named the angels’ boss “Charlie”

SCORE: 4/10
