Darcy is a former pop star turned hotel lobby entertainer desperate for another chance at stardom, incessantly self-promoting to any record label that will listen.
After yet another rejection, Darcy goes back to her hometown to see her recently widowed sister and niece, only to accidentally enter into a Glee-style competition with her former high school frenemy who now coaches the school glee club. Obviously, they team up for the BIG COMPETITION and fall for each other.
This whole movie felt very rushed and the romance aspect wasn’t even needed. Would have been more interesting to just have the glee thing without the inevitable romance. But like, this is Hallmark, so…
