Campbell, the long lost daughter of Everett (played by Bruce Campbell, back for another Christmas movie… we are well and truly gone from his Army of Darkness days, lol), brought down to Louisiana by his wife Jennifer who thought she would surprise her husband by reconnecting him with the daughter he abandoned. Follow that? Ok.
I appreciate that this movie highlights the Cajun Papa Noel tradition in southern Louisiana. Christmas gators in the Bayou, I mean… come on.
100% predictable, and yet these family dramas always get me. Such a softie. And again, there was no need for the romance subplot here, ok, Hallmark?
