Inn For Christmas (aka Inn Love by Christmas)
A good bingo showing does not a good movie make.
Mandy is an up-and-comer in the hotel industry. Her grandma convinces her to come home to her small town for Christmas, where Mandy intends to buy the local inn. En route, Mandy encounters her high school rival, Lucas, who has similar designs on the place.
Lifetime does not do the same OTT set dressing as Hallmark. Let’s face it, there’s a reason all those holiday movie memes focus on Hallmark.
Whoa! Plot twist! Mandy’s grandma is dating Lucas’ grandpa!
Working together, they improve the inn and suck up to the owner… who doesn’t seem to particularly care who buys it.
Meanwhile, another high school rival appears who proceeds to tell Mandy that there is NO WAY she could do as well with the inn as Lucas could. Never mind that she doesn’t know either of them all that well. Shitty excuse to default a woman to a bitchy, jealous stereotype. Do better, Lifetime.
“She’s a grown woman who acts like a 17 year old.” Damn straight. You tell him, Mandy!
