A Kismet Christmas

Magical Christmas cookies in a decidedly muggle movie.

Someone took the vaseline on the camera lens trick a bit too far - 5 minutes in and I feel like I need glasses.

Tells the legend of the “magical kismet cookies,” with wildly inconsistent and confusing grammatical use of the term “kismet.”

Marilu Henner in her post-skating second career. No judgment. A lady’s gotta get paid. Last seen in 2021’s A Kiss Before Christmas

This movie is WILD.

Magic cookies baked using a century-ish old recipe. Put one under your pillow when you go to sleep and you’ll dream about your true love. All sounds great unless she dreams about the guy next door, only to tell him that they’re soulmates as she walks in on him getting married in his parents’ living room. Wild. I’m honestly almost shocked I recognized what was happening with all the blurred lenses.

Hits a few Christmas movie tropes but not enough to make this worthwhile.

SCORE: 3/10
