Falling For Christmas
Mean Girls Overboard at Christmas
Sierra/Sara (Lindsay Lohan) is the heiress to a hotel empire, Jake (Chord Overstreet) is a widowed father who owns a small family lodge. When Sierra skis off a mountain she is rescued by Jake and awakens from her concussion to discover she has total amnesia.
Lohan is at her best in this - leaning in to the tongue-in-cheek (and very mild) humour about her life in years past and looking like sheβs having a great time back in rom-com, physical comedy mode. Overstreet meets her at every opportunity and is well balanced as a fully-formed love interest balancing widowhood, business ownership, parenthood, and falling for a stranger all at the same time.
This movie obviously has a Netflix (Christmas) movie budget, and it shows. Solid seasonal fare that is absolutely full of classic Christmas movie tropes, and if the end credit outtakes are anything to go on, it looks like it was a ton of fun to make this easy viewing treat.

Final thoughts:
I have never felt so validated for my Christmas decor - the same Costco deer family I have in my own backyard is part of the set decor.
Can I get a prequel for how this 35-year old owns an adorable mountain inn?
